BODY BEAUTY: ESSENTIAL OILS
This past weekend I attended my very first health and wellness based summit in Boston called The W.E.L.L Summit: Wellness. Empowerment. Learning. Luxury. The summit is a curated event for the wellness community based around self-improvement and supporting individuals that are passionate about living a well, non-toxic life. I've never really heard of anything like this until a really dope chick, Dana, reached out and told me she was going that I should too! It was that simple. I went straight to their website, searched, read, bought a ticket, and was sold. I had to calm my introvert-nerves down because I needed to be there.
I want to share with you my favorite break-out session and my favorite hour that was spent at the summit because YES, I'm obsessed. I have to give a #MAJOR shoutout to the holistic health coach Queen herself, Casey Von Inderstein who is the founder of Karmic Wellness. Like Casey says, "Do your future self a favor. Invest in yourself, your health, and your spirit. She's on a mission to help you detoxify your mind, body, and spirit by living mindfully. She's all about embracing a high-vibe, holistic lifestyle." Casey is an essential oils advocate and shared with us her practice and how she pretty much cures everything and anything with essential oils. She's the coolest, ever. Her session was bomb. #lifechanging
ESSENTIAL OILS.

Casey's presentation was everything. I was able to genuinely learn and take away newfound knowledge about so many different essential oils—what they are capable of doing for the body, how the oils can be used, and why the oils should be 110% be implemented into your every routine. Casey was expressing to us how she has basically replaced her whole medicine cabinet as well as self-care and household products with oils because if you have an issue, there's an essential oil to cure it. Seriously. It's incredible. These little bottles of essential oils are like plant superheros that are here to save the day! Essential oils can be used to promote detox in the body + home, boost metabolism, calm the nerves, ease headaches, promotes clear breathing, decrease signs of aging, reduces cellulite, supports digestion, and fights blemishes as well as skin inflammation—I mean, I can go on and on and on AND ON. Essential oils are it!
When you get the vibe that someone is on a mission to kick toxins in the tush, you get on that wavelength and vibe. The amazing thing about essential oils is that they can be used topically, internally, and aromatically. Topically to be absorbed into the skin (this is about a 30 seconds, literally) in conjunction with carrier oils for skin safety. Internally to be used as a dietary supplement to support a variety of health conditions. Aromatically to be diffused to cleanse and purify the air.

- PEPPERMINT: promotes a rejuvenating sense of clear breathing, eases headaches, and supports digestion.
- MELALEUCA: the fighter against blemishes and skin irritation!
- DIGESTZEN: helps to soothe occasional upset stomaches, reduces occasional gas and bloating.
