Vanilla Hazelnut Protein Pancakes|GLUTEN FREE|

Today our youngest brother turns 2-1 today! Talk about how time flies huh! Him and Hazl share a similar respect for nutrition and he is always eating clean, so I asked if he would share a recipe with us at BluHazl and he kindly obliged (I love this kid!). Check out the recipe below for these delicious vanilla hazelnut protein pancakes that are protein optional and gluten free.  What you need:

1/2 CUP of hazelnut meal, preferably Bob's Red Mill Hazelnut Meal

1/2 CUP whole grain oat flour, preferably Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Oat Flour

1 TBS golden flaxseed meal,  preferably Bob's Red Mill Organic Golden Flaxseed Meal

1 TBS organic honey

1 TSP vanilla extract

1 TBS chia seeds

1/4 coconut oil

2 egg whites

1/2 CUP whey protein, preferably Bob's Red Mill Whey Protein (OPTIONAL)

1/4 almond milk

*Remember, protein is optional.

*Gluten Free!

*Also, Elijah encourages that you use Bob's Red Mill products. He swears by his products.! They are 100% organic and gluten free. Also, they are rather affordable for organic foods. He buys Bob's prodcts at Ocean Stat Job Lot.

After you have all your ingredients mixed, cook as if you were cooking regular pancakes in the morning. Turn on some music, get your pan and start flipping!

This recipe will make 4-5 delicious gluten free vanilla hazelnut pancakes. Enjoy!
