The Right PEOPLE

It's true, life is all about the people who surround you, inspire you and help you grow. The older I get, the more I realize how impactful this quote is from Amy Poehler. I found this meme on Instagram from @IAMTHATGIRL (follow them, they're a great group of women that empower women) and I couldn't agree with them more. Life is all about your family, your friends, and the people that make your heart beat. I've learned thus far in life, the better the people are that surround you, the better you become. Think about it. For two minutes, think of all the people that have surrounded you throughout your lifetime and reminisce about your life in that moment time. (It's so crazy!)

When I thought about this quote for a couple minutes, my mind was blown because I realized some people that surrounded me at some points in my life were not a good impact in my life, in fact, they were a horrible influence. Not everyone is a "friend" and not everyone will be in your corner. In addition, not everyone beats to the same drum as you do. Some people have different goals and aspirations as you, while others have morals and values that are unlike yours. Some people simply just don't love the way you do. Unfortunately, there are negative people in this world that will bring you down and discourage you, but luckily enough life goes on and you will meet incredible people that will do everything to lift you up. Those people, those "lift you up" people, are the people you want in your circle. Those people that love like you do and those people that dream like you do, those are the people that you want around you. Most importantly, I believe having people around you that share the same morals and values in life as you do just make your life that much sweeter. -Sigh- I love good people.

Now that you have those amazing human beings around you, they will challenge you because they want to see you grow. These incredible beings want you to reach your full potential and become the BEST YOU CAN BE. So accept the challenge. Accept the challenge of becoming better than you were yesterday. Accept the challenge that those people who love you are presenting you because trust me, they have your best interest always. These people, these fascinating people, are the people you never want to let get away. Keep these people around you as much as you can and just watch how much you grow. Observe how much you bloom when everyone waters you with inspiration and encouragement. Watch how these genuinely good people will change your life.
